THE NEXT CHAPTER · FUNDING NOT OPEN YET

Help make everyday
feel more possible.

BRIGGS is being built to make computers and phones easier to use through voice, local AI and practical everyday tools.

I’m Joseph Briggs. I want to turn the Windows and Android previews into a more dependable product—especially for people who find conventional interfaces difficult. Funding would give me the time, equipment and specialist help to do that properly.

WHAT THE £80,000 WOULD SUPPORT

Less friction.
More useful, reliable help.

The priority is making the foundations stronger—not simply adding more features.

01 / DEVELOPMENT

A stronger everyday assistant.

Improve the Windows and Android applications, fix recurring problems and make conversations, reminders and everyday tools easier to use. Put time into clear controls, helpful recovery and reliable updates.

02 / VOICE & PERFORMANCE

Better listening. Less waiting.

Test speech recognition with different accents, speaking speeds and background noise. Investigate response delays and memory use, and optimise the experience across a wider range of phones and computers.

These are development goals, not a promise of perfect recognition or a fixed speed improvement.

03 / ACCESSIBILITY

Build with people, not assumptions.

Work with disabled users and accessibility specialists to understand where BRIGGS helps and where it gets in the way. Support participant testing, clearer text, screen-reader compatibility, flexible listening and alternatives to voice.

04 / TESTING & RELEASE READINESS

Make the next step a careful one.

Fund test devices, installation and compatibility checks, privacy and security review, documentation and the practical costs of preparing a supported release. Review third-party licences and obtain appropriate professional advice before wider commercial launch.

A proposed plan, not a fixed spending breakdown.

The £80,000 is this campaign’s target. Exact allocations, milestones and dates have not been finalised. Priorities would follow testing and user feedback; changes should be explained as the project develops.

BEFORE FUNDING OPENS

Clear expectations.
No pressure to commit.

BRIGGS is a commercial software project in development, not a charity. This page is not an investment offer, a pre-order or a promise of equity, rewards or future access.

Before contributions open, the chosen funding service, payment terms, any fees, refund arrangements and what supporters receive will be explained. The raised counter will then be connected to confirmed contributions—not clicks or unverified pledges.

For now, you can explore the project and decide whether its direction matters to you.
